I was just surfing around one of my favorite gaming news websites (IGN) when I stumbled across a article about the engine that was developed for Crysis (a very good game IMO). They stated in the article that the cryENGINE 2 was going to become available other developers.

Simply put this video made my jaw drop…………anyone else first think they were looking at a real neighborhood road? For those who don’t realize it, this video was recorded in real time (Though most videos of this caliber are pre-rendered.) and that is what makes it so amazing. The potential for future games is mind boggling, just think about games that have such realistic graphics as to border on photo realistic. And one other thing did anyone else ask themselves…….WHY TEAPOTS?
