Project Origin: The Action and Horror Return

I have to say from the moment that I finished F.E.A.R. I was exceedingly excited about the next game. I was so excited that one I played the next two expansion packs, in witch I was severely disappointed. F.E.A.R to me with the two expansion packs, lost the edge that it had during the original game. In the original there were points where I literally had to turn off the game, Because I just couldn’t take anymore, I was so immersed in the game. So you can understand my disappointment when the expansions packs focused way more on the action. And that for me was not the core of the game. the core of the game was what really made the game great, was how intensely frightening it really was. and I have to say that when I saw the first trailer to Project Origin I that i got excited, really excited. I thought YES! Monolith was really the driving force behind this blockbuster, and this will be great.

But after a watching the latest to videos, which focused almost entirely on the action and it and didn’t really give the eerie feeling that was prevalent in the original game. Now I’m a little worried. I hope that the developers are keeping a close eye on the response to their videos. That way, they can make it a wonderful game that is just as good if not better than the first one. For me, I guess I just have to wait and see.
